Enrollment Information

If not a current or past student, complete an application for admissions to Hutchinson Community College by clicking

"APPLY NOW".  Please print the last page of the application for your records.

Class size is limited. Please be prepared to arrange for payment at time of enrollment. Class must be paid for or intent confirmed before student can attend. Please exercise patience during heavy enrollment periods.

Textbooks will be delivered to students at the first class, if not purchased at time of enrollment. All textbooks are non-refundable. If HCC cancels a class, the books are refundable ONLY if they are not used, not damaged, and you have your receipt. BOOK PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Certified Nurse Aide - Approximate Cost: $617.00; Online $693.00 (Includes tuition, books, fees and CPR on a Professional Level)

NOTE: When a negative TB Skin test is required, a photocopy of the signed document prepared at the time of the TB skin test, must be given to your instructor. If you are unable to get a TB Skin test due to a previous reaction, you must get a chest x-ray and provide a photocopy of the results to your instructor. It is only necessary to have a chest w-ray every 5 y

General Information

  • Students will not be allowed to attend the second day of class without a textbook!
  • HS Permission form needed for high school students who are sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
  • HS and CNA Wavier forms needed for high school students who are freshman.
  • HCC reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment.
  • HCC instructors reserve the right to alter schedules as necessary to allow for unexpected circumstances and/or to meet the needs of the students.

Our classes are held at different facilities in the Hutchinson, McPherson and Newton area.  The location is shown for each class in the course search screen.

Learning &/or Physical Disabilities:
Any student who has a documented learning or physical disability and wishes to access academic accommodations under the 1973 Rehabilitation Act or the Americans with Disability Act must contact the HCC Coordinator of Disability Services as soon as possible.  The office of the Coordinator of Disability Services in the Student Success Center is located in the Parker Student Union. The student must have appropriate documentation of the disability and the need for the requested accommodation on file with the Coordinator of Disability Services before accommodations can be provided.
