PROMISE ACT

Promise Act

What is the Kansas Promise Scholarship Act?

The Kansas Promise Scholarship Act provides scholarships to students in order to attend an eligible postsecondary institution for any two-year associate degree program, career and technical education certificate or stand-alone program otherwise identified by the Board of Regents.

Select career and technical education programs at Hutchinson Community College will be available at no cost to eligible students when other forms of aid are not sufficient to cover the cost of books, tuition and fees.

Specific academic programs eligible for the Kansas Promise Scholarship are subject to change at the discretion of KBOR. Transfer programs are subject to further eligibility requirements.
