  Payments

  The HutchCC Campus Store does accept cash, check, and credit cards. A driver's license or student ID is required if paying by check. Check purchases cannot be refunded prior to fifteen days from purchase.

  Book Charges

  All book charges must have prior authorization from the HutchCC Business Office or the Financial Aid Office.

  Order Books Online

  Are you needing to purchase your textbooks but aren't able to make it to the Campus Store during business hours?  Hate the fall and spring rush crowds and want to skip the lines?  NOW YOU CAN!!
   
  If you are purchasing your books using a credit/debit card you can now order them from home any time of day through your DragonZone account.
   
  Once you've logged into your DragonZone account go to academics and then click on textbooks. From there you can add the books you need to your cart.  You can choose to have them shipped to your house or even held for pickup at any of our campus locations.  Please allow 24 - 48 business hours for us to process the order. Updated status on your order will be available in your DragonZone account.  It's easy and beats standing in line!!!

  **Financial Aid, Book Scholarship, and 3rd Party Pay students are not able to order using the online ordering system.**

  HutchCC Campus Store Book Refund Policy

  • All returns must be accompanied by a dated sales receipt. Credit card purchases will be refunded to the credit card used in the original transaction. All other refunds will be placed on a student account. NO CASH WILL BE GIVEN OUT!
  • New & Used Books must be returned within ten business days from the date of purchase for the Fall and Spring semesters. (This is if your classes started in August or January)
    • The Summer semester has only three business days from the date of purchase.
    • The BI100 – Basic Concepts Class, a five-day course, has only one day to return their book for a full refund.
  • Canceled courses have ten business days to return the book for a full refund. This only applies to classes canceled by HutchCC.
  • All books returned after the above-mentioned time frames may be purchased at a reduced refund rate with an appropriate dated sales receipt.
  • New books must be in perfect condition, free from all writing, stains, markings, tears, or damage to the cover and binding to be eligible for a full refund.  Shrink-wrapped books must remain in their original shrink-wrap to receive a full refund.
  • Defective books will be replaced and should be returned as soon as possible. Replacement books will be new for new, used for used where available. The student must meet any price differences.
  •  Any CDs or other supplementary products that were in your text at the time of purchase must be returned with the text.
  • After 3 weeks of class, the bookstore may or may not have your book in stock.
  • All clothing returns must be accompanied by a dated sales receipt. Clothing and gift items must be returned within ten business days from the purchase date. Tags must be attached and clothing must be in the same condition as when purchased.
  • If an item is listed as "No Refund" on the receipt, it cannot be returned. Non-returnable items include: Opened Access Codes, Software, Electronics, Calculators, Lab Manuals, Lab Packages, and Sale/ Clearance Items. These cannot be returned. NO EXCEPTIONS!

• Textbook Rental

  The Textbook Rental Program allows students that attend HutchCC the opportunity to rent selected textbooks for the duration of a single semester.

  Terms of Agreement

  • At the end of the current semester, it is the student’s responsibility to return the books rented under this program or pay the replacement price of the books in his or her possession.
  • Books rented by the student are the property of the HutchCC Campus Store. In accepting the terms of this book rental program, the student accepts the responsibility to use the book and return it to the HutchCC Campus Store in clean, lightly marked, and fully resalable condition (limited writing, no liquid damage, no torn covers, etc.)
  • The student agrees to allow the HutchCC Campus Store to charge his or her student account the amount of a new replacement textbook if the rental books are not returned by the due date, or damaged and/or deemed unusable by the Bookstore Staff.
  • If rental books are not returned the student will NOT be eligible for this program for the following semester.
  • The rental fee is refundable up to seven days from the start date of the class.
  • Any textbooks rented seven days after the start date of the course are not eligible for a refund.

  *Books not returned by the deadline will be charged to the student account for the full used price.
  *This program is currently only available in-store at Hutchinson, Newton, and McPherson locations.
  *High school students are not eligible to rent through our current rental program.
