Use this timeline to find J1 information, tutorials, videos, and training resources when they are most relevant to your work. New resources will be added throughout the academic year.

Each section identifies what faculty, faculty support staff, and program coordinators/directors may need at that point in the semester.

    Access Central Printing through the Employee tab in DragonZone to submit printing requests and prepare course materials before classes begin.

  • Midterm and Final Grades Learn how to enter and submit midterm and final grades in J1. Audience: Faculty Program Coordinators/Directors

      Submit Midterm/Final Grades Midterm (optional) and final grades will be submitted in J1. Step-by-step instructions will be added after the J1 Faculty Training Walkthroughs document is uploaded to the CMS. Please contact your department chair if you have questions about the grading process.

    • Information
      Course Outcomes Reporting J1 does not include course outcomes reporting. Course outcomes will not be reported until a new reporting system is implemented.
  • Course Creation and Textbook Adoptions Prepare upcoming courses and textbook information. Audience: Program Coordinators/Directors
    • Training
      Course Creation & Textbook Adoptions Training will take place in October (date to be determined). Training will cover course creation, the textbook adoption process, book options, delivery methods, and pricing. Textbook information will sync between VitalSource, J1, and the new PrismRBS point-of-sale system. Department chairs will select and adopt textbooks each semester using the Verba Collect platform. While textbook changes may be possible after courses are scheduled, a final adoption deadline will be established to allow time for ordering physical books and preparing digital materials. Faculty training videos are currently being developed and will be shared when available.
