• When do we offer proctored testing?

  The McPherson Proctor hours are 

  Tuesdays: 3pm-6pm

  Thursdays: 3pm-6pm

  Fridays: 9am-12pm

• How do I schedule a proctored exam?

  Schedule a proctored exam by calling 620-245-0202 or by sending an e-mail request to mcpherson@hutchcc.edu with the following information:

  • Student Name
  • Preferred Testing Date/Time
  • Student ID Number
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Class Name 
  • Instructor Name 
  • Exam Name
  • Time Limit, if any

  Please bring a photo ID to all proctored exam appointments.

• Where are we located?

  We are located at 2208 Plaza East Place, McPherson KS 67460
  From I-135, take exit 60. Go West on Kansas Ave. Take the first left onto Champlain Ave. Turn left into the parking lot. We are behind Arby's and next to Hibbett Sports.

• What are the hours for our bookstore?

  Monday - Thursday the bookstore closes one hour prior to the closing of the McPherson Center and opens at 8:15am.

  Friday 8:15am-4pm

• Can I earn a degree at HutchCC-McPherson?

  Yes, you can earn a degree taking classes at the McPherson Center. Schedule an appointment with an advisor today to start your degree plan.

• What kind of classes does HutchCC-McPherson offer?

  HutchCC McPherson offers general education classes as well as program-specific classes including business, paralegal, and criminal justice. Also, the Practical Nursing Program is offered at the McPherson Center!

• What time of day are classes?

  Classes start as early as 7:30am or as late as 6:30pm.

• What is a concurrent class?

  A concurrent enrollment partnership student is a person enrolled in classes at a high school for college credit classes during the normal high school day.  More Information

• Are all HutchCC McPherson classes located in the McPherson Center?

  Most HutchCC McPherson classes are located at the McPherson Center, yet there are a few exceptions. Check the class schedule for more information on class locations.

• How do I get books for online classes?

  Books for your online classes can be sent to McPherson from Hutchinson at no additional charge to you. Books can be ordered online through your DragonZone account, choose the option for pickup to be in McPherson. You will need your Student ID to purchase your books!  Typically, books will arrive at the McPherson Campus on Monday or Wednesday during the Fall & Spring semesters and on Wednesday for the Summer semester.

• When do classes start?

  Full-length semester classes start in January, June, and August. We have classes that start at a variety of times, call and schedule an appointment with our advisor to see what might work with your schedule!
