Under no circumstances should you come to in-person class before you discuss this with a medical professional.
The Reno County Health Department may not provide Covid-19 tests, but they do provide information on where to get them in Reno County. HHS.gov also helps to find a testing site nationwide.
Please contact a medical professional and follow their instructions on this. Each case is different based on the amount of time you were around the person, when they started showing symptoms, whether or not you are showing symptoms, and your vaccination status. Guidelines from public health officials may also be updated.
When you email in with your student email for the first time to firstname.lastname@example.org instructions including a form to upload documentation to will be automatically emailed back to you. In order to be excused from class regarding Covid-19, we must have appropriate documentation. *Please do NOT email any documentation.* After your documentation is reviewed and deemed appropriate, you and necessary staff will be emailed regarding the dates excused from in-person class.
If appropriate documentation is provided within one week, you may be excused from in-person school activities for five days from your first day of symptoms.
If you have not gotten an excused from in-person school activities alert from the email@example.com email on business day 3 of having submitted appropriate documentation, it is your responsibility to email in again.
As long as you provide appropriate documentation within one week, the excuse can be retroactive or go back to the first day you needed to be gone from class.
If your times of needing to quarantine or isolate change, it is your responsibility to provide documentation to the link.
You must provide appropriate documentation before the last day of class.

It is your responsibility to contact instructors for any class work, online attendance, or homework if you are able. It is recommended that you get in touch with each of your instructors as soon as you know that you may not be in-person and discuss class work, whether attending virtual lectures, quizzes, etc.
