History of Endowment

Hutchinson Community College Endowment Association serves a unique mission by facilitating charitable intentions for donors who wish to support the students and programs of the college. Our work focuses on our responsibility to provide our students and community with educational opportunities that are relevant, rigorous, accessible, affordable and convenient. The endowment was formed in 1959 for purpose of stimulating voluntary private support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and others for the benefit of the college. The Endowment Association is an independently incorporated 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and serves as the primary vehicle for seeking monetary gifts and responsible for the identification and nurturing of relationships with donors, prospective donors and other friends of the college. The Endowment Association is dedicated to increasing student access and success at Hutchinson Community College through raising funds, building partnerships, and advocating for students and the college. Our primary purpose is to provide scholarship assistance to students who are seeking to transfer to a four-year university or earn a technical degree, giving them skills to enter the workforce. We are very proud of the work our organization does for not only the college, but our students.
