Course Description: Advanced training in GTAW processes through classroom and lab/shop activities; reviewing of arc welding safety; welding the root pass, hot pass, fill and cap passes with carbon steel filler materials on 6 inch schedule 40 steel pipe in the 2G and 5G positions to meet or exceed requirements of the latest American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section IX Code Requirements.
