Meteorology - AS

This program offers courses for the first two years of a four-year program in meteorology. Meteorologists study the atmosphere's physical characteristics, motions, processes, and effects on the rest of the environment. The best known application is in radio and TV weather forecasting. Meteorological research also applies to air-pollution control, agriculture, air and sea transportation, defense, and trends in the earth's climate.
