Business Management and Entrepreneurship - AAS

This program helps students learn to manage business or other organizations effectively, ethically and efficiently. It prepares students for success in almost any management career, from launching business ventures to advancement with an established organization. This program is primarily designed for students who want to advance their careers without transferring to a university to seek a bachelors degree after HutchCC.

Careers

Every organization is a business. HutchCC’s Business Management & Entrepreneurship program prepares students for success in any management career. We teach students how to effectively, efficiently, and ethically lead people in all aspects of business: marketing, operations, human resources, technology, and accounting. Graduates advance in management jobs with established organizations, or launch their own business ventures.

Program Outcomes

  1. Recognize management purposes, processes, and practices including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling.
  2. Identify managers' roles, responsibilities, and relationships at various organizational levels in the functional areas of marketing, operations/production, finance/accounting, human resources, and technology.
  3. Communicate effectively and efficiently using appropriate business etiquette and terminology, both in oral and written forms.
  4. Apply effective management skills and professional ethics.
