Course Description: Students will gain a foundational knowledge and hands-on experience to perform maintenance and light repairs in todays professional automotive shops. Emphasis is placed on safety, proper use of tools and equipment, and preventive maintenance procedures including oil changes, fluid checks, and multi-point vehicle inspections. Students will learn to identify common vehicle concerns and perform basic diagnostic procedures using service information and scan tools. This course prepares students for entry-level automotive service tasks and supports continued study in advanced automotive systems.
