Apprenticeship money is available from the State of Kansas to cover most of the cost for Kansas full-time firefighters. Certification as a National Fire Officer Apprentice is awarded by the state of Kansas upon successful completion of the program.
The cost per credit hour is approximately $140. The total cost is approximately $2,240, with approximately 90% covered by a Kansas State grant for Kansas Firefighters. The cost of books is the student’s responsibility.

No, there is no in-person element to the class - all content is online.
No, we are not an IFSAC certifying agency. We are an educational institution. However, we do feel confident that after successfully completing any of the IFSAC-qualified classes, you should be able to successfully challenge the IFSAC test at your state testing agency.
No, if you get me a copy of your IFSAC cert. (gold sticker in the corner) I can give you credit for the class.
This is a regular college class with due dates and other students with whom you must participate. They are 8-week classes with assignments due every week.
