Welcome to Hutchinson Community College

Optometry - Pre-Professional - AS

This program prepares students to transfer to baccalaureate degree-granting institutions and then to schools of optometry. Because admission requirements vary, students should contact the specific optometry schools they plan to attend. All schools emphasize mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. Students may write directly for information to American Optometric Association, 243 N. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63141.

Accreditation

Hutchinson Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org), an institutional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
