    Course Description:  An introduction to computer programming with an emphasis on problem-solving and program design using a modern programming language. Students will learn fundamental programming concepts including variables, data types, control structures, functions, basic data structures, input/output, and file processing. The course emphasizes algorithm development, testing, debugging, and writing clear, maintainable programs applicable across computing disciplines.

    Course Description:  A study of common data and program structures together with associated algorithms. Topics include interfaces, and introduction of the concept of date abstraction and information hiding, design patterns, arrays, stacks, queues, lists, trees, heaps, hash tables, recursion, binary search, and tree traversals.   • AI and Introduction to Machine Learning - CS215

    Course Description:  Introduction to the fundamental concepts and techniques of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Students will learn how to manipulate and analyze data using Python and libraries such as NumPy, and will explore core supervised learning methods including linear and logistic regression. Emphasis is placed on understanding model construction, training, evaluation, and interpretation. Topics include features and labels, cost functions, gradient descent optimization, model regularization, and performance evaluation. Students will gain hands-on experience implementing and evaluating AI models, with attention to practical applications, limitations, and ethical considerations.
