Why This Program?

The HCC Theatre Program provides students with extensive experience in both theatre production and theory. Aspiring theatre students acquire knowledge and skills in voice and diction, stage movement, acting, design, and technical theatre and earn college credit for work on or performance in several major productions during each academic year. Performances are held in the Stringer Fine Arts Center, a state-of-the-art facility with well-equipped performance halls and multi-media classrooms.  Students may major in performance, technical theatre, music theatre, and theatre education.

We invite you to browse through our photographs, learn about our curricula, and schedule a campus visit to meet our outstanding faculty.   Let’s talk about how you can be part of a tradition that is changing the world, one artist at a time!
HCC Theatre's stage is where I found inspiration, empowerment, and bonds that I know will last until the end of time.
