Each year, volunteers are trained by IRS personnel to provide assistance with preparation of basic tax returns for low and moderate income taxpayers.
We are very proud of our 24 VITA Volunteers.
The Out of 120 free
tax preparation sites in the state of Kansas, the Hutchinson VITA Site managed
by The Volunteer Center of Reno County and Reno County RSVP was sixth in total
returns prepared.

VITA in Reno County is administered by Hutchinson Community College's RSVP
Program. The program is a collaborative effort with the IRS, and the Salvation
Army. A special thank you to the Wheatbelt Area Chapter of Credit Unions
for providing assistance with VITA program this year.
