What To Bring

Traditional Rooms

What to bring:

  • Telephone
  • Bedding for an extra-long twin bed (twin sheets, blanket & pillow)
  • Toiletries (soap, towels, washcloths, shampoo, etc)
  • Laundry supplies
  • Alarm clock
  • Stereo
  • Television (expanded basic cable service is provided)
  • Computer (wireless and hi-speed internet access is provided)

If you would like to bring a loft bed or bunk beds, you may do so. You are responsible for the structural soundness of that furniture.

What not to bring:

  • Refrigerator (a 4.3 cu ft refrigerator is provided in each dorm room)
  • Microwave (a community microwave is available on each wing)
  • Toaster ovens or toasters (fire code prohibits)
  • Indoor or outdoor grills (fire code prohibits)
  • Electric frying pans (fire code prohibits)
  • Candles (Fire code prohibits)
  • Pets (except aquarium fish)
  • Firearms and weapons (including paintball guns, bb guns and knives)
  • Fireworks and other pyrotechnics

  • Indoor or outdoor grills (fire code prohibits)
  • Electric frying pans (fire code prohibits)
  • Candles (Fire code prohibits)
  • Pets (except aquarium fish)
  • Firearms and weapons (including paintball guns, bb guns and knives)
  • Fireworks and other pyrotechnics
  • Your own bed (there is no storage for suite-room furniture, so it must stay in your assigned room for the school year).
