Returning students are those who have previously attended HCC but who did not attend HCC the past semester. Making the transition from high school to college can be an easy process. Entering college for the first time requires some paperwork. The checklist below will help you keep track of what is to be completed.

If you are seeking a degree from HCC then... request a completed official copy of your high school transcript and all other College/University that you have attended to be mailed to the Admissions Office.

Complete registration process as instructed by the Admissions Office. In most cases this will mean attending an Enrollment Day.
HCC requires a minimum Reading competency for all classes and certain classes require a minimum English or Math standard. If you submit ACT scores, you may not have to take additional placement tests, call Admissions Office for more information.
