Welcome to the Hutchinson Community College Fine Arts Department. We offer a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum of visual and performing arts designed to help students meet their academic and career goals for the first 2 years of college study. The department includes Theatre, Art, Music, Broadcasting, and Religion and Philosophy.
Our faculty is nationally and internally recognized in various areas of teaching, performance, directing, and academic research.
We are dedicated to the inherent value of introducing our students to accomplished visual and performing professionals in the business. Each year an impressive list of guest artists bring a wealth of knowledge to our students by sharing experiences and creative processes.
Through the collaborative efforts of our outstanding faculty, dedicated staff, and diligent students, the Fine Arts Department at HCC has become an essential contributor to the cultural climate of the campus and surrounding community. We invite you to browse through our web site to get a sense of who we are and then schedule a campus visit. Let’s talk about how you can be part of a tradition that is changing the world, one artist at a time.
