Bill Self, head coach of
the 2008 national champion Kansas Jayhawks, will be the keynote
clinician at the 2008 Ryan Swanson’s Hutch Basketball Coaches Clinic.
The clinic will be at
Hutchinson High School's Salthawk Activity Center on Saturday, Sept. 27,
beginning at 9 a.m.
Included in the camp fee
for this day-long event will be a catered lunch, plus a ticket to the
Hutchinson-Fort Scott football game that evening.
Self will headline a
Who’s Who of Kansas basketball coaches at the 2008 clinic.
Wichita State head coach
Greg Marshall, former Hutchinson Community College national championship
coach and current Colorado assistant coach Steve McClain and Kansas
State University assistant coach Matt Figger are also scheduled to
speak.
In addition to that
solid line-up, high school coaches can satisfy their annual rules
meeting requirements at this year’s clinic.
Kansas State High School
Activities Association Supervisor of Officials Francine Martin will
conduct a rules meeting for the 2008-09 high school basketball season.
