The final tune-up for this
weekend's Region VI Tournament for the Hutchinson Community
College men's and women's tennis team was rained out on Tuesday
at Newman University.
The Blue Dragon men and women
will begin play at the Region VI Tournament on Friday at the
Riverside Tennis Complex in Wichita.
The tournament will be seeded
on Thursday.

SALINA – Hutchinson Community
College men’s tennis players dropped only one set as the Blue
Dragons rolled to a 9-0 victory over Kansas Wesleyan University
on Monday.
The Blue Dragons snapped a
two-dual losing streak and won for the first time since sweeping
Hesston College 9-0 on March 28.

SALINA – The Hutchinson Community
College women’s tennis team earned its third victory of the season
with a 4-1 triumph over Kansas Wesleyan University on Monday.
Only five matches were contested
because KWU does not have a full tennis roster. The Lady Dragons
(3-5) snapped a two-dual losing streak after not dropping a set
against the Coyotes.
