Hutchinson Community College Athletics

Cameron Belden begins his first season as a Blue Dragon assistant coach. He comes to Hutchinson after a one-year stint as an assistant coach at Cowley Community College.

While at Cowley, four players Belden coached signed Division I letters of intent. Cowley went 16-16 in Belden’s only season with the Tigers.

Belden is a Hutchinson native, but he graduated from Olathe East High School in 2000.

Belden played one season for Kansas City Community College for Coach Jon Oler and one season at Newman University for Coach Mark Potter before earning a degree in secondary education from Wichita State University in 2005.

He is married. His wife’s name is Mary.
