Tech Support Help Desk

The Tech Support Help Desk can assist students with any number of technical difficulties including but not limited to:

  • HCC Email - Account Access, Compatibility issues with Windows 7
  • DragonZone - Account Access, Navigation, Personal Profile Information, Password Reset
  • Online Courses - Access to HCC Online, Browser Difficulties
  • On-Campus Computer - Program Availability, Compatibility with Student's Storage Media, Printing Problems

Open Computer Labs

Rimmer Learning Resource Center, McPherson Center, and Newton Center provide free open computer lab access for students. Please check with each location for thier hours of availability.

Wireless Access

HCC maintains a robust wireless access system with most campus buildings having coverage. To access the internet while on an HCC campus, attach your computer to DragonZone and use your DragonZone credentials on the login screen that first opens in your browser. If you are having difficulty, please contact Tech Support for additional help.

Computer Recommendation

Follow the link to see a detailed list of specification for buying a new computer to utilize while taking classes at HCC. Before any purchase, check the college/department requirements for your field of study. Macs are recommended for Art and Journalism majors.
