Students use nature in art

 About 30 Hutchinson Community College art students were scheduled to mix art and nature during the “Art In The Park” event at Dillons Nature Center, Friday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In this type of assignment, students working in groups set out to manipulate nature to create art forms using a repetition of leaves, rocks, twigs, and water to build a design.   More...

Cider event set for Oct. 24

 The Science Club will be serving apple cider and cookies in the arboretum, close to Lockman Hall, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 to help gain recognition of their new arboretum tree project.  There will be musicians and other entertainment provided as well as information on what the arboretum tree project means to Hutchinson Community College.  More
