Since 1995, Kansas residents have had a unique opportunity to give back to their community.  YouthFriends started in Kansas City and is now aiding at-risk children by supplying mentors for them.  Volunteers in the program are assigned to a student who has the same interests as they do, and operates through the school system.   More...
