HEALTH CARE TRAINING

The Allied Health/Health Care Training Department at HCC offers a variety of classes for someone in the Health care profession.  Instructors for the Allied Health/Health Care Training classes have worked in the field prior to teaching our classes and have been selected because of their experience and passion for education. In other words, they have “walked the walk.” The long-term care facilities in our service area are dedicated to being training centers for our classes and work in tandem with the college to make sure your education is the best it can be. In an effort to meet your needs, we offer a large variety of opportunities and schedules.

We provide short term courses allowing for quick entry into the job market at a consistent lower cost to the student.

Are you interested in becoming a CNA and a CMA and need to be quickly certified?

  • With our programs, it is possible to become certified in both of these classes within a three (3) month period.

Have you been laid-off at your current job and need to get back into the job market quickly making better than minimum wage?

  • You can take a CNA class and be working following the first 40 hours of the CNA class.

Did you have your CNA certification years ago and now want to go back to work in that field?

  • These options are also available.
